Well, as I was hitting the "Publish" key, it was announced that the bill "PASSED" with the help of 8 Republicans!!! I WILL be posting THEIR NAMES as soon as I can get the list from the House Roll.
I am SO DISCUSTED with those 8!! It's like OCTO-SPECTER was in the HOUSE!! Well, I hope they are READY to RETIRE, 'cause my guess is in THEIR state they are on the PooPoo list NOW!!

We're down to the wire...
Well, I've been on the phone TRYING to get through to my elected officials in Washington for the last TWO HOURS!!
No luck.
Needless to say, the phone lines are MELTING in Washington, D.C.!!! Thats a GREAT SIGN!! This means that people are actually getting off their duffs & CALLING!! I hope the lines burst into flames & set the place on FIRE!! That might stop the vote long enough for the "Pubs" to get a few more of the "Blue-Dogs" to come to OUR SIDE!!
IF the Dems get this piece of legislative crap, this so-called "Cap & Trade" bill that will give the Government the "POWER" to tax the crap out of ANYTHING that produces CO2.
Your house, your car, your LAWNMOWER!! Anything & EVERYTHING is subject to this "TAX"!! Thats what it IS, a TAX!! And it's ALL based on that Phoney-Bologna Global Warning that HASN"T been proven in ANY way except FALSE!!
Guess what it does to your Utility Bills? It FORCES the utility companies to UPGRADE their equipment to CALIFORNIA STANDARDS or they get FINED!! Guess WHO eventually gets CHARGED for the fine? Thats right...you, in the form of RATE HIKES. Now, they ALSO will "UPGRADE" building standards to CALIFORNIA levels. This means an "Inspector" will come out & evaluated your home. He will then point out what you need to do to bring it up to specs.
Doesn't sound TOO bad, ......yet. Here's the RUB: If you are trying to SELL your house, you have to do this BEFORE you can SELL IT!! This could run you THOUSANDS of dollars that you won't be able to re-coop when you sell!!! If your house isn"t worth putting 20 or 30 grand into...too bad. DO IT or tear it down!!(They'll probably come up with a program to help HERE, too!!)
Your car? Will have to be "CALIFORNIA CERTIFIED"!! This means THOUSANDS of dollars worth of "STUFF" yet to be determined!! Scared, yet? You SHOULD be.
Now lets talk about HOW this will effect the REST of your life:
This part is EASY to write. EVERYTHING you use or buy will be TAXED to DEATH because SOMEWHERE in the process of manufacture it "MADE" CO2!! There, that pretty much covers it.
All I can say at this point is this: May God have mercy on US & the United States of America. If this bill passes, He's the ONLY one that can SAVE US!!
Keep your powder dry & your guns handy. You're gonna NEED'EM!!

The meaning of OBAMA...
Obama means: "One Big Ass Mistake, America". That pretty much sums it up, doesn't it!! From his (Pelosis') ideas on healthcare right up to the press release on Iran...ONE BIG MISTAKE AFTER ANOTHER!!
He's real STRONG on healthcare & real WEAK on International Politics, that's "BASS-ACKWARDS" in MY book!! The world is laughing at US because of this Jackass!! We've NEVER been perceived as weak before. Now every Tom, Dick, & HABIB is going to think he can take us on!! I mean, look at what North Korea is doing, for Gods sake!!
This situation is just PITIFULL!! I believe it is TIME for the "Pubs" to grab their "Nads" & get a backbone with this guy and his political circus before it's TOO LATE to pull it back from the brink. Who knows, might already be too late for all WE know. Can't seem to get too many Republicans to open their mouths except for McCain & a couple of Freshman. Even Lieberman is al hush-hush. And Teddy, well...he's probably medically "PICKLED" at home.
Obama had to be SHAMED into the piss-poor release they DID let out today. The FIRST one was so "Limp-wristed", I'll bet he practically CHOKED on it!! Even the damned FRENCH used stronger wording than the "Prez" did!! That's NOT GOOD!!
Oh, well...We can THANK the limp-wristed, tree-hugging, bark-humping, fruitcake, Obama-bots who voted for him.
At least I have the pleasure of knowing that this country has been in WORSE spots before. Johnson, Carter, Clinton to name a few. We bounced back then, too. Hope we have one more in us.

Apology Tour: Part 2
Well..... there he goes AGAIN!! Obama just can't seem to STOP apologizing for the United States!! But, he can't help it, he thinks this country is a total failure!!
HE FAILED to tell the Officials in Cairo, Egypt that the U.S.A. helped & fed the Muslims in Indonesia after the Typhoon & Tsunamis' in the past couple of years! HE FAILED to tell them the U.S. fed the Muslims in Africa! HE FAILED to tell them we helped free the Muslims in Kuwait in the 1st Gulf War! How thoughtful of him to NOT BORE THEM with the details!!
HE CAN'T STAND what this country stands for: Liberty, Freedom (there IS a difference), INDIVIDUALISM (THIS is the one that bothers him the MOST).
He hates Liberty because that means you really don't need HIM. He hates Freedom because it gives YOU choices in life. He hates individualism because it's just NOT the Socialist Way!!
As long as YOU, the Free American, have access to the "Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Happiness" thing, HIS job can be on the line!! As it SHOULD be for ANY President.
Instead, one minute he says we (the USA) won't try to impose our will on them. THEN, in the next breath, says Israel should stop making "trouble" in the region. But, yet IRAN, he says, should be "ALLOWED" to pursue nuke power for "Peaceful" purposes. We all know THAT isn't in the cards! And never said ANYTHING about Hezbollah "disposing of their rockets into Israel!!
I TRULY believe this guy is a MEGALOMANIAC!! Everything is me,me,me, & I,I,I!! When it SHOULD be We, We, We, or just the U.S will or WILL NOT!! Most of the time it's like he's STUCK in Campaign Mode, or something. He just doesn't know when to stop!
The SCARY part is he is so naive as to the way things are done in that part of the world. He has YET to figure out that "Chicago Style" politics won't get you SQUAT over there. In fact, all he is doing is pissing them off & making US look like FOOLS (Which, most of the country was last November 8th!!)!!
All I can say is, if we DON'T have another 9/11, I will be totally surprised!! "We the People" are in for a LONG & bumpy ride.
